Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities:

1.Take the lead to supervise and maintain the operations of laboratories in Hong Kong and Mainland China

2.Develop laboratory accreditation programs with external customers and commercial laboratories

3.Review the testing performance and tests methods on a periodical basis

4.Communicate with both internal and external customers on testing related issues

5.Modify the existing workflow and enhance the program design through the computer system

6.Coordinate with on-shore and off-shore factories for the testing issues

7.Suggest test methods to users for case study and trouble shooting purpose

Requirements:

1.Bachelor Degree in Quality Management / Industrial Engineering or related discipline

2.At least 10 years work experience in laboratory and quality management, such as chemical and safety tests, calibration, maintenance as well as reliability engineering

3.Familiar with HOKLAS (Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme), CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment), SINGLAS (Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) etc

4.Knowledge of various standards including EU RoHS, EU Battery & Accumulator Directive, IEC 62133, IEC61951-2, IEC61960, UL1642, UL2054 is advantageous

5.Strong analytical thinking and problem solving capability

6.Effective leadership, prioritizing and collaboration skills

7.Good command of both written & spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin

8.Frequently travel to laboratories in Mainland China, and occasionally travel to Asian factories is required
