JOB SUMMARY 主要工作内容

As a key member of the quality team, the technical engineer is required to contribute to the total quality assurance program for the company product assortments, which are mainly distributed in the European market.    

Product coverage of the company are Photo & Video, TV & Satellite, Smart Home & Domotica, Connectivity, Lighting, Home & Living, Mobile & Media, Sound, Vision & Entertainment, Smart & Connected.

The technical engineer must have a broad knowledge in manufacturing engineering filed, as well as EU Product Compliance standards, and he/she must be proactive, result oriented, and able to collaborate with overseas offices, various internal departments, as well as 3rd party suppliers.   

The key areas of responsibilities will be verifying inquiry sample, silver sample and golden sample Product Safety, Performances, User Experiences and Quality level ensuring the tested product met the up-today common international business requirements as well as EU directives and or standards.

According to technical specifications and/or regulations, produce first sample report (FSR). This is part of the product Quality Assurance activities during New Product Introduction process (NPI).

Quality support to existing business: investigate product samples with reported technical problems, find failure mode and perform root cause analysis as part of the product sustainable improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance testing during the NPI process.

**Define test protocol for first sample investigation.

**Execute first sample investigation in line with agreed time-schedule.

**Timely reporting of investigation results in clear & accurate manner.

**Provide input for sample test result and the first sample report (FSR).

Quality support to existing business

**Problem verification: testing / investigation of product samples.

**Timely reporting of investigation results in clear & accurate manner.

Test equipment

**Set-up test & measuring equipment, so that the essential test and investigation can be performed in house and in accordance with the appropriate ISO and EU technical regulations.  

**Organize maintenance & calibration of test and measuring equipment in a timely manner.

Test room

**Set-up and maintain test room in a proper and orderly manner (5S)

**Set-up and maintain Inquiry/Silver/Golden samples check in a systemic way: optimal availability and traceability of reference samples.

Requirements 要求

**Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position

**Sound experience and up-today technical knowledge on AIoT, smart control, electronics, home appliances and connectivity products.

**EU technical legal requirement on products (e.g. LVD, RED(R&TTE), EMC, ERP, RoHS, REACH)

**Broad knowledge in QE, SQE, and other quality related topics

**Ability to work independently and willing to take initiatives

**Fluent in spoken and written English.

**Proactive, quick-learner, and good business attire

**Strong business ethics

**Knowledge level on ISO and EU standards and requirements

**Present ability on test result, reports and documentations

**Ability to use various type of computer program like Excel, Words, Powerpoint and other 2D/3D software.
