Position Summary:

This position will evaluate and develop the various IT technologies platforms and services (Database, Compute, Storage, Cloud, Security and Networking) across Enterprise wide which cater for Manufacturing and non-Manufacturing operations globally. IT technologies platform and services would include solutions set and tools according to business requirements (both current and future), ensuring consistency across all user groups. This includes conducting business process assessments to determine the challenges/needs and impact assessment to identify how the changes from the "as-is" processes, systems, and structures to the "to-be" processes and systems. The solutions designed would cater to meet the operations scalability and security needs and implemented globally across the Company.

Responsibilities:

1. Partner with various Business Units to understand business requirements for overall Infrastructure 2.0 initiatives, collect data, conduct analysis and problem resolution. Identify, evaluate and recommend options, implement if required.  Collaborate with, and facilitate stakeholder groups, as part of formal or      informal consultancy agreements. Seek to fully address business needs, enhance the capabilities and effectiveness  of business operations, by ensuring that proposed solutions are properly understood and appropriately adopted.

2. Develop information security solutions to protect the enterprise information by evaluating the key business process and its elements of trade secret. This includes evaluating business strategies and its requirements, researching information security  standards, conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments, studying architecture/platform and identifying integration issues.

3. Partner with other internal IT teams to support new projects development and incorporating IT security      requirements/updates, technologies and best practices to continuously  improvise the existing/new environment.

4. Review information systems for compliance with legislation and specify any required changes. Responsible for ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures and overall information management   strategy.

Requirements:

1. Technical proficiency in Enterprise wide IT technologies (Cloud, IT Security, Platforms), hardware and software.

2. Technical proficiency in broader areas of  IT, including cloud, windows, servers & storage hardware, server and desktop virtualization platforms.

3. Critical thinking skills; ability to lead, consult and advise business stakeholders around business solutions.

4. The ability to lead/facilitate discussions  for both technical teams and business/project teams that cross multiple business functions.

5. Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, consulting, negotiation, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
