JOB SUMMARY：

Jabil is looking for a Lead RF Test Development Engineer to become part of its growing Test Development team. As a Lead RF Test Development Engineer, you will be required to take full ownership of assigned projects, developing test strategies, test plans, test hardware, automation software and implementation for cutting edge RF telecom products (Cellular Radios, Small Cells, Microwave Radios, etc.)

You will be a functional test development expert and guide/mentor others in the field of RF test engineering. You will work closely with customers and Jabil’s extended cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, PMO, Quality) to deliver carrier grade design and manufacturing test solutions.

You will be a strong team player and play a critical part in defining future test strategies for the Test Engineering team at Jabil.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES：

Work with business development teams, test engineering teams and external customers to gather information and develop manufacturing test strategies, plans, specifications, test HW & SW (complete End to End test solutions) of medium to high complexity RF products.

Define and develop functional, system and ESS test plans for RF products.

Be responsible for design, setup, validation and release of radio and/or BTS test environment, including HW and SW.

Compose / review test plans, requirements, and specifications.

Work with teams to develop project schedules and execute projects to completion.

Work with teams to deploy complete test solutions into manufacturing sites on time and with quality.

Perform data analysis to find patterns and issues with product test performance.

Participate in RCA / troubleshooting activities in design, manufacturing and/or at customer sites.

Evaluate new test methods and strategies to help customers improve efficiency, quality and reduce cost.

Assist in developing budgets and quoting of projects to Business Unit Managers.

Assist in developing global test strategies, methods and best practices.

Provides guidance, coaching, technical support to test engineering members; fostering multi-disciplinary team work, partnerships, and collaborations across various sites globally.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree (MSc. preferred) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

8+ years of experience in RF test development in a telecommunication environment is a must.

10+ years of experience in telecommunications in general (preferably in a design / test development role).

Willingness to travel domestically and/or world-wide up to 30% of the time.
