What Am I Expected To Do?
We are looking for a highly-digital driven marketing professional with an acute business sense, who wants to work in a rapidly growing and highly entrepreneurial agency environment for our Hong Kong office. You will lead and inspire a team of specialists responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies for our regional and local clients targeting mainland China customers. We put our clients’ KPIs on your shoulders. You will fully own your tasks and will be provided with a great platform to utilize your leadership skills.
Lead a small team to achieve business target, including ensure clients retention, upselling to existing clients and maintain top line and ROI targets;
Develop business development strategies in response to market insights and competitors’ analysis;
Understand our clients or potential clients’ business needs on cross border digital media and provide trustful advice and solutions;
Drive real results for our clients by developing sound strategic ideas and proposals, with a proven track record of building and retaining client business;
Raise the bar in developing and carrying out customized content strategy for our clients and creating the right message in right languages, tone and culture for the China market;
Build up strong branding for our clients in the China market by influencer marketing strategy, with platforms like Weibo, WeChat, etc;
Manage, collect and integrate online advertising reporting data from multiple sources including web analytics, ad-servers, and other sources;
Oversee reports including competitive reports to assess media schedules of competitors, interpret data and draw conclusions;
Be a strong people manager, manage a small team and make sure the team members achieve both their individual development goals and company goals.
What Background Would Make Me Successful In This Role?
Degree holder, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Advertising or related discipline;
7+ years of solid account servicing experience in digital / social / media, China social experience is a plus;
Experience with emerging digital media, such as data-driven marketing, mobile experience, social networking, word-of-mouth and more;
Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, critical thinking and confidence;
Have strong knowledge or experience in account management/coordination, buying, client/campaign strategy, and media planning;
China experience and market knowledge is definitely a strong advantage;
Eager to use the role to expand company and individual horizons;
Keen awareness of market, and opportunities for agency growth;
Fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
Less experienced candidates will be considered as Associate Director.
