Accountabilities
1.Fully establish PLM software and implementation services to new business prospects in the Asia region.
2.Supported by new, dedicated pre-sales/implementation resources in the region.
3.Responsible for the total new business development process for your territory, from prospect generation and qualification, (with support from marketing), through cold calling and email follow up, to initial sales presentation.
4.The total sales process from first contact to contract typically takes 4 to 6 months and you will be dealing with senior management level executives, negotiating six figure deals with the support of your pre-sales resources, before handing over to customer services/operations for delivery.
Qualifications
1.A strong background knowledge of the fashion industry, including current market dynamics, also the positioning and value of PLM (and/or similar) solutions in this environment.
2.A proven and consistent record of success in a new business, solution selling environment (ideally technical/software and with experience of International businesses).
3.Experience of building, developing and leading successful sales/business development teams.
4.Confident in dealing with individuals at all levels within an organisation.
5.Fluent in both Chinese and English languages.
6.Excellent communication and people skills including face to face, over the telephone and in writing.
7.Strong commercial, strategic and negotiation skills.
8.A willingness to travel, including some travel to UK for training, regionally in SE Asia and potentially throughout Asia.
