1.University or master degree or above with engineering related, Knowledge in Optical or Electrical or Mechanical materials & processing; experience in machining or optical field preferred;
Occupational Experience:
1.At least 5 years experience in industrial material purchasing, hands-on experience on high mix low volume purchasing is highly preferred.
2.Strong experience with KPI management
3.Well know MRP system ( Aware of SAP is better );
Additional Knowledge Requirements: Good skills of leadership, Communication, Strategic planning, and analytical ability, Good command of oral and written English, Japanese a plus.
Major Duties:
Plan, direct, and monitor all purchasing and material planning activities to ensure a cost, speed, quality effective to fulfill business requirements.
1.Purchasing:
-Responsible for the supervision of company sourcing process to ensure the implementation of sourcing plans and policies.
-Set up the purchasing plan according to the company target, lead the purchasing team to implement the plan, timely follow-up and feedback the implementation process.
-Control the price and quality of all kinds of purchasing goods,
-Set up the purchasing management system, standardize the purchasing work.
-Improve the operation process, set up the quantifiable, verifiable and scientific purchasing process.
-Making new product development plan, formulate effective supply chain improvement plan according to the actual production ability and the technical ability.
-Manage and coordinate the relationship with main suppliers,develop new suppliers, effectively control the purchase cost.
-Cooperate with the QC department to guarantee product quality and delivery time.
2.Material Resource Planning
-Ensuring that materials are available for production and products are available for delivery to customers
-Maintaining the lowest possible level of inventory.
-Planning manufacturing activities, delivery schedules and purchasing activities.
3.Supervision
-Leads, promotes, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility (especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures).
4.EHS
-Ensures adherence to and monitoring of legal laws and internal regulations concerning EHS in his/her organizational unit and is occasionally involved in the development of new concepts and directives in close coorperation with EHS site advisor. Ensures implementation of the concepts in his/her area of responsibility and takes care of the corresponding instruction and training of his/her employees.
5.Lean-Manufacturing
-Assist and support the lean activities
-Performs other duties as assigned.
