Essential Functions:  

Align commodity strategy within whole Sourcing group and execute in line with the business needs and product line requirements

Work with commodity manager to develop PSL and interface with Engineering to ensure the implementation of PSL in new product design.

Develop and implement corresponding sourcing plan to support new project development, new component searching and to meet the project schedule or R&D engineer requirement.

T&C negotiation with new component suppliers following group sourcing requirement. Lead and work as interface between Sourcing and R&D Engineering to ensure sourcing processes and strategic sourcing initiatives are followed and implemented.

Assist in locating key new technology suppliers and rapid prototyping vendors for rapid mechanical and electrical prototyping.

Maintain Project plan to ensure accurate reporting.

Engage in new supplier evaluation, qualification and selection with the R&D team, handle all contract negotiations.

Support on critical shortage solving during ramp-up project demand schedule and quality issue solving. Immediate escalation for all supply issues.

Effectively manage Long Lead materials for first mass production build, with minimum PPV.

ECO execution and implementation support

Reports progress towards objectives, identifies areas of non-compliance and drives resolution

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

BA (MBA preferred).

Engineering Background

In depth Knowledge and Experience in rapid prototyping in the Shenzhen area

Minimum 10 years working experience in the procurement and sourcing field in multi-divisional, global environment, preferably within consumer electronics industry.

Minimum 3 years management experience to include developing and leading team to achieve organization goals.

Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Strong relationship management skills.

Comprehensive technical expertise for Electronic products and processes, proven experience in global purchasing

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), English and Mandarin preferred
