-As an assistant R&D Manager your responsibilities are:

·         Report to Team Manager

·         Collaborate with head office Design and Product Development team in the identification of core & novelty with new quality fabric.

·         Able to interpret grouping design’s needs & communicate efficiently with suppliers

·         Communicate with different stakeholders such as suppliers, internal departments and external parties for fabric issues, provide technical support.

·         Recommend solution to our product/design on fabric & color.

·         Provide technical know-how to help product team on costing or production

·         Understand testing & provide feedback & guidance to mills

·         Develop any new treatment or washing sample to present design by seasonal

·         Color / quality approval to supplier

·         Require often travelling

-Job requirements:

·         Degree in textile (related field) or equivalent work experience

·         At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in knitting fabric sourcing and development with focus in ladies’ wear

·         Knowledge of Fashionable sense and trend for Europe market is a must

·         Experience working directly with fabric mills

·         Understand fabric with technical background in textile weaving, dyeing and finishing.

·         Proficient in Microsoft applications

·         Able to work independently & team player
