Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent works closely with teams in New Zealand head office to develop in integrated strategic marketing plans that support business grow in China.
* Contributes to the China Management Team’s development of long range strategies and business plans.
* Ensures effective management of staff performance within the Marketing team.
* Financial management of the marketing programme including budget planning, resource allocation and preparation of monthly reports and other reports as required.
* Development of an effective annual Chinese Marketing & Cycle Plan.
* Implement tactical marketing plans to ensure attainment of sales and profit targets.
* Develop ongoing liaison with key opinion leaders, industry groups and other healthcare organisations to ensure that significant developments in the field are identified and monitored.
Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years consumer marketing experience in Mainland China.
* Proven track record in leading and managing the marketing function, preferably consumer health products or Retail Pharmacy setting.
* Experienced in brand, digital and retail marketing, MNC experience preferred.
* Experience working with large databases and using data driven insights to formulate campaign objectives.
* Online marketing experience and familiar with running campaigns on Taobao, Tmall and WeChat is as an advantage.
* Fluent verbal and written communicator in both Chinese and English.
