ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

® Oversee the productivity and well-being of the engineering team

® Contribute engineering knowledge and expertise to product development projects

® Mentor and lead junior and senior designers, guide projects, inspire through example, infuse

® Develop products with multi-disciplinary teams (including Industrial Design, Research, Interaction, and Manufacturing)

® Leading product development teams

® Participating in the development of products from inception (marketing direction) to production

® Experience developing products with electronics and moving parts with a strong focus on home appliances

EDUCATION

® Bachelors or above in Mechanical / Electro-mechanical Engineering;

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

® 8-10 years of experience as a practicing mechanical engineer

® Strong technical background in a senior position, at least 5 years with a proven background at a management position

® Technical Report writing, developing process & procedures, talent mapping and change management

® Patent avoidance and application for patents

DESIRED SKILLS

® Product/process developing skill (CAD/CAM/CAE)

® Project management training, certificate of PMP is an advantage

® Positive attitude towards solving problems

® Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance and performing statistical tolerance analysis

® Team player ability to work in cross‐functional teams

® Leadership skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills

® Results and deadline driven

® Works with minimal supervision on complex efforts on the mechanical development of components and subsystems of devices

® Proficient language skills in English and Mandarin

® Flexibility and adaptability of approach, focused on finding a workable solution to every problem

® Technically proficient (mechanism development, materials, processes, FEA, etc.)Ability to lead in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment
