1. Duties and Areas of Responsibility
• Assist National Manager to develop key account marketing plans and strategies for the customers
• Annual planning of marketing promotion in accordance with sales target and marketing budget
• Monthly planning and tracking of individual promotion plans and schedules, discuss plans with sales managers, review quarterly marketing promotion in accordance with customer plan changes
• Daily supervise of individual marketing promotion project and involve in some marketing execution with major KA
• Organize and participate regular phase meetings with marketing agency
• Annual marketing design and inspirational discussion with agency and designer
• Coordinate and participate exhibitions in China, e.g. SIAL, FHC and FMA etc…
2. Point-of-sale material (POSM) in-store
• Understand how POSM can be used creatively and impactfully in-store to build brand awareness and interest
• Understand the Chinese consumer in-store shopping experience and behaviour
• Understand how store tiering should affect merchandising decisions
• Experience managing agencies to achieve on-brand POSM creatives
• Understand how brands can successfully merchandise their products in store
• Experience implementing strict brand guidelines and ensuring retailers comply with guidelines at all times
3. Online advertising
• Experience building brand awareness and interest throughout e-commerce platforms (Tmall and Yiguo). (Must provide visual examples of previous campaigns and their results)
• Experience managing a dedicated brand content page on Tmall/Yiguo
• Experience managing the planning, design and execution of compelling, branded content for maximum consumer engagement (with an agency or in-house)
• Experience building integrated digital marketing plans across multiple channels
• Understand how to analyse and maximise upon consumer data to learn from marketing expenditure
4. Social media platforms
• Experience building brand awareness through Weibo and Wechat. (Must provide visual examples of previous successful campaigns)
• Experience managing the production of consumer content for social media (agency or in-house)
• Understand how to build, manage and report on an annual social media plan (Wechat and Weibo)
5. Key opinion leaders (KOLs – ‘celebrities/influencers’):
• Experience managing campaigns with KOLs – for example
• KOL cooking demonstrations
• Videos
• Live streaming with KOL
• Interviews with KOL about nutrition / health / food safety
• Advertising incorporating KOLS (e.g. in-store advertising)
(Must provide examples of campaigns (visual concepts and results)
6. Gifting and competitions:
• Experience managing and budgeting for the purchase and distribution of gifts at seasonal Chinese holidays (e.g. CNY and 11/11)
Requirements
• University graduate with related disciplines
• Meat or food industry experience will be preferred
• FMCG background will be preferred
• At least 10 years sales experience
• Good in both written and spoken English & Chinese
• A team player
