DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

The NEXTracker – Packaging Engineer will be based in Zhangjiang Shanghai. Enter three or four sentences here that explain why this position exists, what it is focused on, etc.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

* Lead packaging and logistics cost reduction initiatives.  Manage priorities and help cross functional teams focus on top initiatives. Work with technical team and our manufacturing partners to optimize solutions. Balance quality, speed to market, and cost reduction.

* Coordinate the day-to-day activities required to deliver all projects and deliverables on time.

* Identify and mitigate risks.

* Host recurring project meetings and deliver status updates to all stakeholders.

* Manage external dependencies.

* Manage teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.

* Develop the overall prioritization, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

* Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience

* Superior communication skills

* One year of experience working a factory

* Knowledge of complex international supply chain procurement and logistics systems

* Understanding of dealing with customer support and O&M issues

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Demonstrated leadership capabilities with proven management experience

* Strong knowledge of PV technology and its applications and/or energy storage is preferred
