Key Accountabilities
1. Work with CI Business Partners, Hub&/or Functional Leadership teams to deliver, On Time In Full (OTIF) on the CI plans &targets aligned to the strategic priorities and goals
2. Recommend application of appropriate Lean Six Sigma or alternative CI methodologies (eg/ Agile, Prince etc) to achieve these objectives
3. Help in the identification & lead delivery of Black Belt CI projects to achieve financial& intangible targets, by using LEAN Six Sigma and Process Improvement methodologies, tools and techniques and appropriate project management & change management concepts
4.Identify candidates for the CI training program, i.e. Yellow Belt, Green or Black Belt& deliver CI training, coach and certify to the ECM CI group standards
5.Display the right CI behaviours to inspire all levels of colleagues to drive continuous improvement in their areas and to sustain gains and results achieved during the projects. Support the CI Group Team & local leadership teams in embedding CI as ‘the way of working‘
6.Ensure all projects and benefits are tracked and reported in accordance with the Group CI standards, accurately and on time. Enable results to be measured &sustained in all functions/locations, support ad hoc audits as required. Ensure corrective actions are put in place to deliver continuous results
7.Participate in tollgate project reviews & coach assigned CI activities eg/ Kaizen;8D; JDI; YB and GB activities
8.Provide regular updates to the CI Group team as well as the local functional / hub team and proactively manage communication of successes and challenges
9.Update training material where needed, keep it relevant, fit for purpose & future proof. Conduct & support problem solving exercises to identify& eliminate root causes & sustain improvements
10.Co-deliver certain CI trainings eg. 8D, YB & GB modules
Requirements:
1. Educated to degree level or equivalent, business, functional or accounting discipline is preferred
2. A recognised certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, minimum
3. A minimum of 2years CI experience of project leadership with proven track record of successful on time delivery with measurable business benefits
4. Demonstrates a passion & enthusiasm for CI, to improve the ‘status quo’
5. Strong ability to engage others in CI at low to middle levels of the organisation
6. Able to communicate confidently and effectively both verbally and in writing, in English
7. Change Catalyst – challenge the status quo
8. Champion CI - act as a role model, truly ‘walk the talk
