Responsiblities:

Fully responsible for Optical materials & Coretronic issues .

Take over Electrical materials from Electrical GSQ who is overloaded with OEM issues.

Support Mechanical material handling / rework due to high defect rate.

Support data analysis and monthly reporting.

Required Experience and Qualifications :      

3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing      industry with exposure to Quality Assurance

Experience working in material / supplier quality      management

A formal education in Engineering (Mechanical ,      Electrical or Electronics)

Fluent in English (both verbal and written)

Formal education /training in quality 

Knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA      and  Control Plans

An understanding of ISO9001 quality standards

Understanding of process management

Strong problem solving skills (ability to drive      root cause and corrective actions)

Willingness to support all functions of an      organization in supplying qualified material to production

Knowledge/understanding of metrology and      inspection techniques is an asset

A background in Geometric Dimensioning and      Tolerancing would be an asset

An understanding of optical components and their manufacturing processes would be an asset
