Mission of Function:
The product Marketing Manager acts as part of the BD functions and cooperates closely with the Sales team and R&D team:
1. Support and accelerate growth of sales channels and volume. This includes the identification of market segment needs, the localization and complementation of the market offering and sales initiatives, as well as the program implementation support.
2. The product marketing manager has a key role in execution of product marketing strategies to further strengthen our market position as the superior technology, product and solution provider in the fast developing China Entrance Systems, Safe locks Market.
Responsibilities:
1. Endorse the company brand and uphold Company reputation and image
2. Responsible leadership function in projects (market launch, product development)
3. Quantitatively assess market needs and set marketing strategy
Select the product portfolio to be sold on the local market based on company global product portfolio
4. Closely collaborate with Global Product Management (e.g. PMM network, product approvals, business plans, market information)
5. Sales and customer training and support
6. Produce and maintain market intelligence on competitors
7. Manage product life cycle on local markets (launch, growth, phase-out).
8. Implement global Product Management standards and concepts in the Area
9. Encourage a vital and productive atmosphere in working team
10. Set prices in price books based on market prices and derive price points by channel; manage gross profit
11. Foresee changes in competitive environment, identify technical trends as well as design trends and derive changes in marketing mix; manage regulatory environment in line with legal limits and company guidelines
Key Requirements
1. Product and industry Knows Entrance Systems, Safe locks Market.
2. Marketing Know marketing frameworks and methods
3. Language Know how to structure and formulate documents and to effectively communicate in English language.
4. 5+ year working experience in the Electronic consumer market industry and 1+ years working experience in marketing management or product management.
