Job Responsibilities

●       Prototype manufacturing using local suppliers and in house reworking.

●       Analysing data and writing of Technical Reports in English language.

●       Collaborate with R&D Teams and / or external suppliers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate appropriate corrective action.

●       Requirements analysis and design review.

●       Preparing and presenting information, ideas and data.

●       Production and quality support (e.g. analysis of issues and implementing corrective action internally with suppliers to prevent reoccurrence).

●       Support feasibility for new programs, features and / or cost down opportunities.

●       Laboratory test equipment commissioning and use.

●       Global travel to brand HQs, suppliers and other external providers as necessary.

●       Works closely with the R&D Teams to architect and develop the best technical solution and approach

●       Work with Purchasing, Quality and project team to control the product and project delivery on time.

Essential skills and experience:

●       Ability to accurately plan own work and meet deadlines.

●       At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems for household appliances.

●       Designing for EMC: Experience in testing and debugging to achieve EMC compliance with understanding of CE/CCC/FCC/UL standards.

●       Design for manufacture and production test experience.Strong troubleshooting and testing background with hands on experience in handling electronics.

●       Ability to solve electronic and hardware integration issues.

●       Experience in working collaboratively with international development teams.

●       Fluency in written and verbal communication in English.

●       Knowledge and experience of core hardware and software functions such as serial protocol, general purpose IO, ADCs, DACs, timers, interrupts, PWM, LCD displays, I2C, SPI, memory management, FLASH.

●       Good teamwork ability.
