JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER

d.light is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong experience in Mechanical design and management skills.
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a fast growing company, with very diverse culture of a multinational team environment, passionate about our social mission and willing to work independently, able to handle multi-tasking and good at cross functional communications.
Position Description
1.   Responsible for mechanical design, implementation and bringing newproducts from design to mass production;
2.  Create new product mechanical design, including create 3D and 2D drawing;
3.  Coordinate with prototype suppliers to launch prototype samples;
4.  Release finalized drawing for tooling launch and follow up on initialtooling;
5.  Sourcing components as needed to meet design requirement;
6.  Design review and verify mould samples;
7.  On site tool trial shots checking and sample evaluation;
8.  Sample evaluation for 2nd source and alternative parts forexisting products;
9.  Release ECN for engineering changes and CAF for component approval;
10. Follow  the mechanical partdevelopment and approval process;
11. Manage the mechanicalengineers to meet the project goals.
 
Qualifications
1.  Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering;
2.  At least 8 years experiences in new product development and productsustaining;
3.  Familiar with Solidworks or equivalent 3D CAD software. Solidworkspreferred;
4.  Able to manage multiple projects, experienced in solving mechanicalissues on production line;
5.  Must be able towork independently;
6.  Tooling design and review experience, with an emphasis on controllingsuppliers tooling process;
7.  Must be able towork in a background using English as working language;
8.  Experience of working in heat transfer simulation and outdoor products isa plus;
9.  Strong trouble shooting and  problemsolving skills.
