The company would now like to appoint a Shanghai Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for the overall leadership and management of the Shanghai sales strategy. Within delegated authorities this position creates and implements business strategies for sales, pricing, trading terms, market segments, and channels to market and. Essential for this position is the ability to build business relationships to maximize the long term profitability and sustainability of the business. This position will actively contribute to China Sales Team as a member of the team to maximize China’s return on funds, the achievement of budgets and the realizations of strategic goals. This position will protect and expand the premium for products sold and develop new markets through the delivery of strong value propositions and superior customer service. This position shall identify business development initiatives and provide appropriate testing rigor to these initiatives. It shall contribute to broader sales and marketing activities, on a required basis and shall contribute to other group stakeholders. This is a leadership role and at all times this position shall act as a leadership role model complying with the Company’s values and treat health and safety as the first operating principle.

A tertiary qualification in Business, Sales & Marketing based disciplines is mandatory.
10+ years of selling / marketing experience, at least 5+ years of career in a management position.
Experience in developing and delivering against a targeted sales growth strategy.
Knowledge of the construction material and building products, good knowledge of laminated products will be preferred.
Fluency in Chinese and English.
Strong leadership and team building expertise, managing a team of 10+ people’s size.
Strong sales leadership experience with demonstrated ability to implement and then drive a sales excellence model.
Ability to build direct reports’ and team capability.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
Strong budgeting, planning and organizing skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
