Job Description
The Sales Director has full responsibility of commercial operations and team management to drive business growth and fulfill the assigned sales target, in which an increasing component is generated from business development of the localized information service products. While improving the current businesses, the Sales Director needs to focus on developing new businesses by introducing and localizing digital products and exploring new business models to penetrate into the hospital professional training (CME) market. Managing a team of 5, the Sales Director will coordinate and supervise the team's daily activities to make sure the planed job assignments well executed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage the overall China business and make sure the sales budget achieved
Lead the sales function in person with focusing on the Enterprise sales (mainly hospital CME market) for both localized and imported digital products include Nursing and Medical
Develop formal business proposals and plans with detailed quantitative business analysis for management approval. Accountable for successful implementation of approved BD projects to achieve the projected revenues.
Build relationship with key opinion leaders and decision makers in the industry.
Prepare and submit management reports in the following areas
Supervise team daily activities;. Provide team co-ordination, staff development, management support for all staff Motivate staff to achieve the pre-defined goals
Manage the Product Manager to deliver projects on time with high quality and within budgets
Manage the sales team to maximize the imports sales and direct digital sales to top tier schools and hospitals
The Successful Applicant
Should have a minimum of 5 years in business development or sales position with track record performance, including management of agents and sales force.
Should have a minimum of 3 years in leader position of a team or department.
Experience in healthcare industry and hospital sales is required
Strong business sense and financial acumen to ensure proposals are commercially sound and can be delivered profitably.
Strategic thinking capability with strong analytical skills to identify directions and formulate strategies
Ability to prioritize and set goals and objectives for both self and the team
Sophisticated management skills to organize staff and resources upon clearly defined goals and objectives
Highly persuasive and articulate business negotiation skills and well developed and excellent level of presentation skills
Seasoned interpersonal skills to be able to influence across peer groups and upon non-directly managed reports
Tenacity in exploring new business opportunities and overcoming obstacles and difficulties
A hands-on and fast doer with strong execution capability
Strong communication skills with good command of spoken and written English
Knowledge in digital solutions with IT literate (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
