Job Description
Sales Director will be reporting to General Manager – China directly. His or her major responsible for total revenue goals of the company in China sales team resources and tools for deployment to focused customer segments and geographic coverage. Determine strategy, structure, and measurement of all sales resources. Enable development of sellers and sales leadership to their fullest potential. Develop system and deliver accurate forecasting and planning. Act as engaged cross functional partner to partner functions enabling greatest net result for the customers.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
Develop overall sales strategy around various key factors:
Plan and implement annual sales and market operating budget
Effective execute sales and marketing plans and forecast
Set strategic direction for sales organization and broader business
Build and maintain solid relationship with state owned companies, such as CHINA GUODIAN CORPORATION or SNPTC. Experience in solar or industrial inverters would be a plus.
Effectively interact with and ensure positive productive relationships with all cross functional partners.
The Successful Applicant
Successful Applicants:
Education: Bachelor in Engineering
preferred Languages: Mandarin (native) and English (fluently)
Professional Experience: ·
At least 10 years of experience, of which 7 years sales management experience, preferably in multinational environment in the photovoltaic industry;
Experience of managing a high growth start-up sales operation of MNC industrial company in China is a plus;
Experienced in project management and methodologies;
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive employee relations as well as effective relationships within and across functional boundaries;
Create positive work environment to enable retention and robust succession planning.
