My client is a $400 Million dollar privately owned global multinational company serving industrial customers in Oil Drilling, Mining, Petrochemicals, Refineries, Steel, Ports and Power Plants industries. They are distributors of Highly Engineered Products, Supply Chain Management Services, Integrated Supply Solutions, and Products Services ranging from repair, installation, and project development. In Asia-Pacific, my client has offices in India, China, Taiwan, Philippines, and Singapore and they have been supplying industrial products like motors, alternators, drives, switchgears, controls, etc. to OEMs and end-user customers in the industries mentioned. More specifically in China, they are in an aggressive expansion and growth mode and are looking for a Country Manager to support and grow their customer base. 职位描述
This Country Manager (Greater China) would report to the APAC MD and will be predominantly responsible for developing strong relationships with new customers and driving business from current key accounts. You will also be required to manage and build the existing team in China in sales, marketing, technical and service departments. This role will have full P&L responsibilities and you will be joining a company at its start-up phase in China with huge investment and support from the HQ.

The qualified candidate must have the following skill-sets and experience:
10+ years sales experience in the industries mentioned above
Either an Electrical Engineer or a Mechanical Engineer, or equal through experience
Entrepreneurial, autonomous and self-motivated.
Ready to travel 40-50% within assigned market/geography.
Strong communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Knowledge of Power Transmission (Bearings, Motors, Gear Boxes, Couplings, Drive Shafts) and service sales (break fix, repair, remanufacture) of Product Transmission products is a Plus
Must have Distributor, OEM, or Service Sales Experience with the ability to call on customers at the plant level (maintenance managers, reliability managers, plant managers) level
Working experience in multinational manufacturers will be preferred.
