Mission:
- As representative for R&D in project team, you are responsible for all R&D functions during the whole project development.
-You assume the technical management of development, integration & introduction to manufacturing of products.



Responsibility:

- In charge of product definition, technical time schedule and product cost evaluation and follow-up. You write the product specification based on customer need and Valeo Standards.
- Managing the development (hardware, software, mechanic, industrialization) to reach the Quality Cost Timing objective defined by the project Manager on the technical aspects. You take technical decisions for the project.
- The main contact of the customer for the technical items.
- Follow up suppliers which are in charge of components development for technical aspects.
- Contribute to the test plan definition, the validation tool design and you pilot the tests validations.
- Write the industrial tools specification (electronic tests on production line) and pilot the tool development with the supplier and the plant.
- Keep a rigorous control of the necessary documentations of the project.
- Make a daily report of project status to product line manager & project manager.
- Managerial activities (line or functional management):
- Managing functionally the development team (Hardware, software, mechanic, industrialization)



Required:

- Engineering degree in electronic, software or automation
- experience in onboard electronics systems development in the automotive industry, automotive experience desirable
- Strong knowledge about Electronics, software, mechanics
- Onboard electronics systems development
- Technical project management, team builder
- Customer oriented .Technical customer relationships in an international context
- Rigorous and Organized
- Capacity in analysis and synthesis
