About Our Client 
Founded in 2009, CPG Engineering and Commercial Services is a German organization specialising in the Iron and Steel industries. Dealing with full projects in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) of plants, they are currently involved with a Steel Making Plant with capacity of 1 Million Tons Per Year.
Job Description

As the Commercial Manager, you will be in charge new operations in China, looking at growing this office as they have done with Düsseldorf and Turkey. Major responsibilities will include:
- Taking the requirements from the customers and stakeholders and understanding exactly what is needed to be sourced. - Sourcing new supplier’s of CAPEX and equipment in China who can deliver to Iran for the Steel Making Plants.
- Negotiating these contracts to ensure not only cost savings but that the quality is to the expectations of the company and their customers.
- Implementing KPIs with the suppliers to ensure delivery and quality but also enforcing these requirements. - Dealing with the export of these products to Iran as well as the customs clearance, duties and regulations.
- Growing the team of sourcing and export experts in China
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience within the steel industry, having looked at sourcing and commercials for ideally a large scale organisation. You will have extensive experience of buying CAPEX and spare parts for the Steel industry and will have dealt with the export customs clearance, duties and regulations in China. Other requirements include:
- Degree qualified ideally within Engineering. - An engineering background is preferred.
- Management experience.
- Ideally experience of growing an office from a start up perspective. - Fluency in Mandarin and English is a pre-requisite.
- Track record of influencing stakeholders and suppliers of all levels.
