Our Client's solutions can be seen in a variety of industries and applications, including: Cinema Houses of worship Control rooms Enterprise Education and Training facilities 3D and virtual reality Simulation Media Government. We are headquartered in the US, with manufacturing in China. Our China head office is based in Shanghai.
Job Description
The role will be comprised of a combination of strategic sales management in addition to hands on channel and sales engagement. A few of the key responsibilities are:
- Champion and facilitate strategic processes (strategy formulation, portfolio management and solution price lists) across Asia Pacific Entertainment Solutions Sales team and dependent organizations to prioritize resources on delivering the greatest business value in a fast and efficient way.
- Work with regional VP Sales to develop and facilitate Strategic Planning sessions and Business Reviews to ensure progress toward objectives, evaluate success of Asia Pacific strategic charters through scorecard development/management, and provide reporting and recommendations to the Team.
- Demonstrate an ability to influence all project and portfolio stakeholders; communicate highly relevant information to both executive leaders and individual contributors in an effective manner.
- Manage project budgets and scope, and will conduct resource planning for risks that are proactively identified. Includes working with global clients personnel across territories and perform handovers to territory equivalent.
- Explore opportunities for sales process improvements, design alternatives and lead results-driven execution.
- Schedule and develop Sales training to internal Entertainment Solutions sales team, and ensure training analysis is conducted for effective returns and improvements.
- Explore and manage large sales opportunities with local resources to ensure success. To successfully manage special projects as needed as part of the overall Entertainment Solutions business transformation.
- Effective collaboration with Marketing to plan and allocate marketing funs to Entertainment Solutions sales in each Asian countries, deliver optimum results for marketing events, shows, product updates and client management.
The Successful Applicant
As the Greater China Sales Director you will have displayed a strong experience in a leadership role, growing sales revenue and client base. You will be a full PnL owner of the business in Greater China. A few key criteria's are:
- Should have 7~10 years of relevant experience in a leadership role.
- Min 10 years of relevant experience in digital and cinema projection.
- Shown a track record of growing the revenue stream and maintaining a strong forward moving EBIT.
- Experience in working with Channel management, ie. distributor, independent dealers, system integrators
- Preferred to have experience in covering a regional role.
What's On Offer
Our client will be providing a compensation package over 1 million RMB which will be a combination of both basic and bonus/commission targets. Commission targets are set to be achieve and earning potentials will be uncaps. In addition this role will be given the opportunity to travel throughout the region and have exposure to a wide level executives, both internally within the organization and externally within the entertainment industry.
