Position Summary:
The position will focus on supplier management work on direct materials, by collaborating closely with the Company's PMC (Production Scheduling & Material Control) and SCS (Supply Chain Services) Shared Function.
Responsibilities:
Work with suppliers to ensure components on-time delivery as per agreed delivery schedule
Coordinate with Logistics Department on shipment arrival to manufacturing plant
Follow up with vendors on order confirmation and update the data into system accordingly; reschedule requests from various business units and follow up with delivery confirmation
Coordinate with SCS (Supply Chain Services) team, should there be any rush/urgent orders requested by various business units
Monitor overdue PO (Purchase Order) for both direct material and Kanban PO. Handle rush and urgent purchase orders in some special situations
Work with Asia Pacific Finance Department, should there is any problematic invoice form vendors
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Commodity Planning or Supply Chain in a sizeable manufacturer
Effective negotiation and communication skills
Organized and attention to details are required
Responsible, self-motivated, self-disciplined and positive attitude
Diploma education
Good command of both spoken and written English
