About Our Client
Reports to the Global HR / Sites Manager

Job Description
Implement our people management programs in the APAC area in line with the global HR concepts, processes and systems, customized to the local circumstances where needed
Talent Sourcing
Ensure that the right branding activities are conducted and implemented in line with our employment value proposition in view of attracting external / internal talent
In line with the workforce plan, ensure that the right caliber of people are efficiently attracted internally and externally through applying state of the art recruitment processes and practices including the use of appropriate social media,
Develop the right networks with universities and student organizations in view of identifying talent for the business at an early stage
Talent Engagement
As a member of the Local Management Committee, ensure that our people management concepts, processes and practices are given primary attention through working with the local Team Lead Community and internal communication programs are dealt with effectively
Ensure that the employee engagement and communication initiatives are coordinated and implemented professionally including the roll out of local action plans
Implement the global performance management program on related sites
Propose the annual local remuneration review plan, secure approval, coordinate and implement the review process. Ensure that packages are competitive and cost effective on the respective local pay markets
Coordinate the implementation of the company global mobility program for inbound / outbound employee movements related to the respective areas.
Ensure that the payroll activities and all other administrative requirements related to employment are processed on time and that all local legal requirements are observed towards the employees and the authorities.
Manage the local HR team with its related budgets and resources allocated
Talent Development
Ensure that the business competencies are adequately developed on Site through actively supporting the roll out of the Fresh Graduates and fundamental Leadership Programs
Support line management in the potential identification process and monitor development progress
Propagate and implement all other people development programs on site
The Successful Applicant
Requirements
University degree in Social Sciences or Economics or equivalent with excellent study track record
Having built a 5 to 7 years' experience in a progressive people management environment, preferably with 2/3 years of generalist experience
Fluent in Mandarin / Cantonese and English
Role model regarding demonstrated behavior of the company values together with compliance of highest ethical business standards
Able to work with Talent Management integrated systems and MS Office
Willing to travel

Knowledge of employment branding concepts and benchmark intelligence
Able to walk Team Leads through the different stages of the performance management program - objective setting, competency development and performance review
Able to apply the Hay Job Evaluation methodology on local site positions
Able to design a salary plan based on local market intelligence and competitive practices
Able to support Team Leads in the deployment of the company's potential identification and its follow up program
Being able to effectively apply local legislation in all aspects of employment i.e. employment law, tax and social security legislation, immigration/ emigration
Able to apply legislation in a global mobility context i.e .employment law, social security regulations, emigration / immigration and income tax law
Adequate Project Management , Negotiation, Written Communication and Presentation skills
Being able to work with the in-house automated application platforms i.e. Talent Sourcing, Talent Engagement and Talent Development
Familiar with Learning methodologies, systems and tools e.g. Learning Management Systems and tools
