About Our Client
Our client is a market-leading listed fashion company with wide range of products. With their long historical presence, now they operate across the globe with over 12,000 staff. They are currently running multiple sourcing facilities worldwide, especially within the Far East region. As part of their ongoing expansion, they are looking for a high caliber Production manager (Accessories) to join their management team in Dongguan.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Accessories, you will be leading the daily operations of both the Production Coordination and Quality Assurance/Quality Control department. To work closely with local management teams i.e. Product Development, Technical, Planning and other related functions to meet company's operational goals. You will offer support and maintain free-flowing of information across Headquarters, and branch offices in Europe, US and Asia.
Other responsibilities include:
PRODUCTION COORDINATION
-Hand Over Meeting
-Work closely with PD Department and Technicians
-Monitor that all order are received from Headquarters
-Ensure that all orders are transmitted to vendors and that we receive all necessary feedback (MOQ confirmation, vendor production planning, deliveries, etc)
-Establish relevant procedures and reporting tools
-In collaboration with QA/QC team, monitor and share production status
-Verify that all information are shared with relevant departments
QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL
-Monitor team to ensure all aspects of Production procedures are followed accordingly
-Review Production reports to ensure accuracy and integrity of product maintenance (material inbound control, in line inspection, packaging, final inspection)
-Review and monitor Quality Assurance Process with respective team
-Establish "early warning" procedures for issues that can compromise the delivery date, while monitoring constantly the production status
-Create relevant procedures and reporting tools
-Plan and review the activities of the team's members thru weekly team meetings
-Review all quality issues
-Support to CSR team
INTERACTIONS/COMMUNICATION
-Support the PD team on demand
-Work closely with Technical Department, Materials Sourcing department, Testing supervisor to ensure that all aspect of quality and durability of the product are met
-Communicate frequently with Headquarters and branch offices in Europe, US and Asia
-Correspond with headquarters' teams on Buy Plan and Order Placement
-Daily communications with vendors
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will need to be a degree holder or equivalent combination of education with minimum of 10 years of experience in Production/Quality related field. You will able to resolve complex matters in a responsive way and need to possess extensive understanding of accessories construction and workmanship. Excellent writing and oral communication in both Chinese and English is essential.
