PURPOSE:
The Sales & Marketing Director will mainly
propose and implement Sales and Marketing
strategies and develop profitable sales
in line with the policies and objectives of the business.
SCOPE AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The detailed job requirement are including but
not limited to:
· People management of sales & marketing
team.
· Propose and implement sales & marketing
strategy.
· Within strategy, responsible for defining and
agreeing product mix & pricing /for
both China and Export market.
· Responsible for agreeing the Sales forecast
& budget and reporting on progress
against budget.
· Responsible for managing all sales activities
and prioritizing when required.
· Responsible for agreeing basis of pricing with
GM and reviewing profitability of all
sales areas and reporting back to General
Manager.
· Responsible for reclaiming all sales accounts
receivable under their control.
· Ensure the effective Liaison between Sales
Technical -Manufacturing and Customers to identify needs.
· Establish key information data such as
Customer profiles & Market profiles.
· Establish regular sales review meetings with
GM and complete bi-weekly update reports.
· Responsible for level of inventory of Finished
Goods in line with forecast.
· Responsible for overseeing all hiring and
training of personnel involved in sales.
· Develops and/or maintains and improves
business relations with all customers of
the company.
· Seeks out and targets new customers and new
sales opportunities, initiates action
plan to approach and secure new business
for the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
·Sales/Marketing education background. MBA
is a plus.
· Electrical appliances sales experience,
preferably with over 10-12 years solid
experience.
· At least 5 years in sales management related
to electrical appliances.
· Proven sales and business development
experience in similar industry.
· Strong marketing/sales/customer exposure
gained from leading manufacturers or Multinationals
in China.
· A leader who knows how to motivate but also
willing to spearhead of breaking new
grounds.
· A self-starter with tremendous energy.
· Knowledgeable in China and International
markets.
· Willing to Coach and grow subordinates.
· Ability to envision and articulate new
opportunities for the company.
· Good team player, highly self-motivated and
result oriented.
· Excellent oral, comprehension and written
communication skills in Chinese and
English.
· High integrity, ethics and values.
· Experience with cultural differences of
multinational /global company operating in China.
· Able to make trips.
