Your new responsibilities:

- Plan, design, and conduct cost effective firmware solutions according to established scientific methods to improve, generate new electronic smart drivers, equipment, systems, wireless control and testing procedures.

- Perform calculations, component and product specifications in collaboration with relevant departments, and other technical documentation so that prototype designs can be manufactured and assembled. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions

- Optimize product cost and performance using firmware by adding, improving or replacing the existing analog or digital functionality.

- Become and stay a knowledgeable about the analog control part to ensure fully optimized interfacing to the analog side, preventing dualities and clearing the path for new unthinkable solutions.

- Work close with global expert team, act as contact window

- Technology roadmap design

- Platform building block development and support for engineers for successful implementation

- Cost down of current platform

- Technicial sharing within the team

- Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct a R&D project and monitor performance to ensure these targets are met while adopting the relevant procedures of the OSRAM Process House

- Develop and maintain technical expertise on smart lighting innovations in research and science.

- Ensure that patent situation of new product development is checked and that patents are applied for innovative results.

- Support for standadization of design procedures, testing method etc, ensure development quality

What we look for:

- Bachelor, preferably Master of Electronic Engineering

- 3+ years of experience in firmware design in relevant industries (control/industrial/digital power supply).

- Experience of working in a company with good project management and well defined R&D processes is a must.

- Technologies: Wireless control, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth etc.
