1. Perform audits on suppliers to rate actual performance against standards.

2. Issue and follow up on Corrective Actions for non-compliance. Work with Customer to resolve any issues related to supplier quality

3. Coordinate activities with both suppliers’ production engineering and quality assurance people, particularly on issues related to daily production and/or new products introduction.

4. Responsible for day-to-day Supplier Quality function

5. Develop Supplier Quality Manual to auto line and Supplier Quality expectations, including elements based on the TS16949 standards. Follow up on the PSW, etc as required in the auto industries as well as the supplier production capacity.

6. Develop Supplier Audit Check System to review Supplier compliance with Quality Systems standards and document Supplier performance.

7. Develop process expertise for supplier operations. Critical commodities include Powdered Metals, Plastics, Aluminum Die Casting, and Cast Iron.

Qualification Required:

Prefer university graduated with knowledge of plastic tooling, molding & mechanical engineering.

Should have experience in automotive industry

Should be capable to prepare PPAP, PSW, PFMEA, MSA, Control plan.

Prefer to be a LSS Black Belt, Green belt is acceptable

Have supplier auditing skills,

Prefer to be a certified ISO9000 / TS16949 Lead Auditor
