Headquartered in Bristol, England, Hydro is looking to expand their business in the Asia Pacific Region. With China continually looking to improve the mass infrastructure, they are looking to develop a leading position in this region and deliver innovation to meet increase in demands. Hydro will be investing and developing an operational and strategic commercial center in Shanghai to cover the entire Great China market.
Job Description

As the regional business manager for greater China, Hydro will expecting you to deliver and grow sales revenues, gross margin contribution and market share within the geographical area of responsibility in line with the corporate strategic plan. Some key areas of focus:
- To develop, maintain and enhance key business relationships with partners, Design Institutes, consultant engineers, contractors and government bodies within China.
- To identify, appoint and manage distribution and “rep” partners where necessary.
- To develop, review and execute the China country plan.
- To ensure all channel partners complete, review and implement agreed business plans.
- To work closely/liaise with employees within the US, UK operating companies and Group functions to ensure a seamless service to customers from initial inquiry through to product delivery.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and driven to be a real business owner. This role will require someone that has the entrepreneurial spirit and vision to drive a business from the early stages to being a market leader.
