Main Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for improvement in factories and work in coordination with all areas of operations, production, administration and the front end, utilizing the latest and best in class tools and methodologies that include but are not limited to: Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and comparable techniques. ?Develop Improvement Plans and execute on the implementation of these plans. Identify detailed milestones, responsible and clear, specific and achievable short and long term goals with quantifiable objectives. ?Develop, implement and maintain Key Performance Metrics to measure the results achieved Vs the goals targeted on the Improvement Plans. Monitor the performance on a monthly basis of the main objectives that include but are not limited to: OTD, Productivity and Efficiency, Over Time, Quality Performance as PPM’s (External and Internal), Operating Income, Total Cost Savings (Matrix), Cost of Quality, etc. ?Develop and establish continuous improvement and cross functional discipline teams. Provide the training, guidance and mentoring of these teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop execution plans and assure the effective and successful implementation of these plans achieving the expected goals. ?Implement a Motivational and Recognition Program to empower and encourage all the personnel to identify and suggest ideas for the continuous improvement of processes, products, methods, efficiency, quality, etc. ?Lead and contribute to the refinement and development of existent and new operational requirements and standards, and champion the adoption of Industry’s Best Practices & Technologies as required and as these best practices prove to be beneficial and in line with the Global Organizational Objectives. ?Identify and make suggestions to the company’s upper management, on a detailed and professional project/plan with analysis of ROI and/or specific benefits for the company, on new equipment, technologies, processes or systems that may contribute to achieve the Organizational Objectives. ?Meet or exceed on a monthly basis the Goals determined for continuous improvement, costs savings and OI for the Asia divisions. And timely report. ?Other responsibilities assigned by upper management Education and Experience Requirements: ?Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree. ?Must have fluent written and conversational English capabilities. ?Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience as 6 Sigma Black Belt, Manufacturing Mgr., Operations Mgr., Continuous Imp. Mgr. or comparable positions. ?Capability to work with personnel at different organizational levels, strong leadership skills to coordinate cross functional teams with different abilities and expertise levels, ability to communicate clearly, concise and effectively the actions plans and objectives, and be able to achieve positive results and deliver expected goals when working with non-direct report personnel. ?Training and/or Certification on Continuous Improvement Methodologies as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and comparable industry techniques. ?Sound and hands-on working experience managing and effectively implementing Continuous Improvement Tools and Methodologies as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and comparable techniques, with verifiable and quantifiable achievements. ?Excellent problem management, trouble shooting and analytical skills. ?Working experience on the following manufacturing processes: CNC machining, Plastic Molding, Die-Casting, Metal Stamp & Forming, Plating. ?Knowledge, understanding and good interpretation of the organization’s financial information. ?Minimum 3 year of Supervisory experience with direct reports within a technical level.
