DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description

1. Owns the Quality Development of PSL Suppliers.

2. Participates in the new Supplier Selection, Qualification and Approval Process.

3. Owns the Supplier Quality Scorecard reporting per the Supplier Rating System Process.

4. Owns the approval of Supplier’s Quality Management Plans (QMP) for each part number.

5. Owns the periodic audits at Approved PSL Suppliers (Product/Process/Systems) per established Audit Plan

6. Owns Supplier Training and Development.

7. Owns Sustaining Management of material quality events at Flex Power factories. This may include joint technical analysis with Process Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers or other functional groups in the factory.

8. Supports GSM on Cost Claims negotiations with Suppliers due to poor material quality by providing technical information regarding the events. Note: GSM owns Cost Claims negotiations.

9 Owns creation and update of IQC Component Inspection Plans

10. Owns Material quality data metrics collection & reporting (i.e.: SVLRR, 8D Report cycle time…etc)

Secondary Responsibility

1) To involve RD & QA for PVT gating review (DFX & MIL)

2) Review with R&D about the new material performance (in term of form, fit, function & reliability)
